Wir suchen aktuell: Interim Projectmanager – Rollout of Project Management Methodology (m/f/d) in Denmark

Our client - a US-based corporation in the furniture and bedding industry - needs your support!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Rollout Management: Planning, steering, and executing the rollout of a standardized project management methodology at the Danish site – in close cooperation with global PMO teams and the US headquarters.
  • Method Implementation: Applying and ensuring compliance with the specified PM standards, including adaptation to local processes.
  • Cultural Integration: Acting as a bridge between the US corporate culture and Danish working style; translating global requirements into locally feasible processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing all relevant interfaces – Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Retail, Corporate PMO USA, and Danish business units.
  • Training & Enablement: Conducting workshops, training sessions, and coaching formats on the application of the PM methodology for teams in Denmark.
  • Change Management: Establishing a globally consistent PM approach while considering local cultural specifics.
  • Piloting & Go-Live: Supporting initial pilot projects, monitoring implementation, and deriving improvement measures.
  • Executive Reporting: Regular reporting to local management and the US headquarters.
  • Risk Management: Early identification and management of project-related and cultural risks.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in business, engineering, industrial engineering, wood/furniture technology, or a comparable field.

  • Proven several years of experience in project management, ideally in international corporations or US-led companies.
  • Strong methodological competence in project management and confident use of PM tools and governance structures.
  • Experience in the furniture or consumer goods industry, ideally in the bedding or mattress retail sector.
  • Excellent intercultural competence, especially in working with US and Scandinavian/Danish stakeholders.
  • High-level Danish language skills (MUST) – essential for effective collaboration with local teams and stakeholders.
  • Advantageous: Danish citizenship or deep familiarity with Danish working structures and cultural practices.
  • Very good English skills (C1) for international business communication.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, facilitation ability, and diplomatic finesse.
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style, with the ability to manage complex multinational projects.

General Information:

Project start: Immediately

Project duration: 3–6 months

Workload: 3–5 days/week

Location: Regular on-site presence in Denmark
